Precautions: All Other: Warnings: Do not exceed recommended dosage. The treatment of any anemic condition should be under the advice and supervision of a physician.
Precautions: Pregnant or Nursing or Prescription Medications: Since oral iron products interfere with the absorption of oral tetracycline antiobiotics, these products should not be taken within two hours of each other.
Precautions: All Other: This product may occasionally cause constipation, diarrhea, or may color stool black. It may cause gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea) which may be minimized by taking with meals.
Precautions: Children: Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
Directions: Suggested Use: Adults: Take one (1) packet daily with or after a meal as a dietary supplement, or as directed by your physician. Before taking, mix contents of packet with liquid or soft food such as applesauce. Take soon after mixing.
