Patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy should discuss the use of this product with their healthcare practitioner. Each pouch of Immunocal Platinum provides 9 g of protein. Patients on a protein-restricted diet need to take this into account when calculating their daily protein load.

Precautions: Allergies: Although a bovine milk derivative, each pouch contains less than 1% of lactose and is therefore well tolerated by lactose-intolerant individuals. Gastrointestinal bloating and cramps are possible if the product is not sufficiently rehydrated.
