Formula: Contains: 150 mg alpha lipioc acid 150 mg n-acetyl cysteine

FDA Statement of Identity: Dietary Supplement

Formula: Contains: Andrew Lessman’s Alpha-Lipoic Acid With N-Acetyl Cysteine delivers a special blend of two powerful and related antioxidants, alpha lipoic acid (ALA) and n-acetyl cysteine (NAC). ALA has the rare ability to exist in either water- or oil-based environments, which enables ALA to deliver its powerful anti-oxidant benefits virtually anywhere in the body. This universal solubility results in ALA being commonly referred to as the “Universal Anti-Oxidant” and allows it to be particularly effective in providing its anti-oxidant benefits to the cells of our nervous system and brain where its molecular structure permits it to cross the blood-brain barrier. It also protects the vital tissues and structures of the cardiovascular and immune systems, the liver, kidneys and lungs. ALA's anti-oxidant capacity also helps to “recharge” and extend the life of other anti-oxidants in the body, such as vitamins C and E, coenzyme Q-10 and glutathione. Unfortunately, the body makes and maintains very low concentrations of ALA and supplementation can become necessary as a result of the normal changes accompanying aging, stress, illness and even exercise. For additional protection against free radical damage, we include ALA's related molecule, NAC (n-acetyl cysteine), which is also a powerful anti-oxidant and an essential building block in the creation of glutathione peroxidase, perhaps the body's most powerful anti-oxidant.

Formula: Contains: No modern anti-oxidant regimen is complete without the addition of the Universal Anti-Oxidant (ALA) and NAC. We then blend our Alpha-Lipoic Acid With N-Acetyl Cysteine with the naturally green, nutrient- and chlorophyll-rich anti-oxidant benefits of organic wheat grass and organic barley grass.

Formulation: Does NOT Contain: Contains no milk, soy, yeast, wheat, gluten, sodium, salt, sugar, fat, cholesterol, color, preservative or manufacturing additives. Contains no additives of any kind.
