Formula: Contains: 10 mg all-natural lycopene Protective anti-oxidant carotenoid

FDA Statement of Identity: Dietary Supplement

Formula: Contains: Lycopene 10 provides high levels of the powerful, antioxidant carotenoid lycopene in its natural form. Lycopene is a colorful pigmented antioxidant, which is principally found in red and orange fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes and watermelon. Lycopene is a powerful, fat-soluble antioxidant that protects a wide variety of lipid-based tissues and organs from free-radical damage. Lycopene is important to women because it is highly concentrated in breast tissue, where it helps to protect these delicate tissues from oxidative damage. Lycopene is equally important to men because it is the most abundant protective antioxidant present in the prostate gland. As the major carotenoid found in tomatoes, lycopene is one of the primary nutrients associated with the healthy Mediterranean diet and in helping to protect the cardiovascular system. Lycopene cannot be produced by the body, so its benefits are only delivered by food or supplements. Sadly, most Americans acquire relatively little lycopene because of our low consumption of fruits and vegetables. Lycopene 10 provides many times more lycopene than is found in the leading multivitamins, to deliver powerful antioxidant protection to support the health of a broad range of body tissues.
