Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20–30 drops (about 0.7–1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Glycerites may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Always take psyllium with a full glass of water, at least 8 oz per dose, and drink it promptly. Taken with too little liquid, psyllium can swell and cause choking or a blockage of the esophagus, which has in rare cases been fatal. Do not use this product if you have any narrowing or stricture of the esophagus or intestine, difficulty swallowing, or a history of bowel obstruction. Psyllium is a recognized allergen; if you develop hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek emergency care. Because psyllium can slow the absorption of oral medicines, separate it from any medication by at least two to four hours. Do not use during pregnancy or while nursing unless directed by your practitioner. This product is not intended for young children. Do not exceed the suggested serving. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs.
Storage: Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
