Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20-30 drops (about 0.7-1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Tinctures may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Ningpo Figwort (Xuan Shen) contains plant compounds that act on the heart. Use only under the guidance of a qualified practitioner and do not exceed the suggested serving. Heart: small amounts may gently support the heart, but larger amounts can depress heart function - do not exceed the suggested serving, and use caution if you have a heart condition. Blood sugar and blood pressure: it may lower both - take care if you have diabetes, low blood pressure, or take blood-sugar or blood-pressure medication. Cooling nature: it may not suit people with weak or easily chilled digestion, poor appetite, or loose stools. Pregnancy / nursing: do NOT use during pregnancy or while nursing. Herb combinations: in traditional practice it is considered incompatible with Li Lu (Veratrum) - tell your practitioner what you are taking. Contains alcohol. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
