Product Specific Information: Ingredients: Wild Harvested Xu Chang Qing, Paniculate Swallowwort (Cynanchum Paniculatum) Dried Root Powder. Full strength Organic or pharmacy-grade alcohol, purified water, vegetable glycerin.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20–30 drops (about 0.7–1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Tinctures may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs. Excessive consumption may impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy / nursing: Xu Chang Qing is a blood-moving herb and is not to be used during pregnancy; consult your practitioner before use while breastfeeding. Bleeding / surgery: because it moves the blood, use caution if you take blood-thinning or antiplatelet medication, have a bleeding disorder, or are approaching surgery, and consult your practitioner first. Drowsiness: its main compound, paeonol, can be mildly sedating - be cautious combining it with sedatives, sleep aids, or alcohol, and take care with driving or machinery until you know how it affects you. Short-term use: keep to the suggested serving and short-term use, ideally under the guidance of a qualified practitioner. Contains alcohol. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Do not use it to self-treat any medical condition - see a qualified doctor instead. Do not give it to infants or children. Keep out of reach of children.
