Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20–30 drops (about 0.7–1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Tinctures may also be taken directly.

Excessive consumption may impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy: research shows that Pu Huang can stimulate contractions of the uterus, so it must NOT be used during pregnancy, as it may risk miscarriage or premature labor. Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding. Blood thinning: in tradition Pu Huang is described as invigorating the blood, so it may add to the effect of blood-thinning or anti-clotting medicines (such as warfarin, heparin, aspirin or clopidogrel). If you take any of these, have a bleeding or clotting disorder, or are due to have surgery, do not use it without medical advice. Overuse: taking more than the suggested serving may cause mild nausea or loss of appetite - keep to the serving. Contains alcohol. Do not use it to self-treat any medical condition - see a qualified doctor instead. Do not give it to infants or young children. If you take any medication or have a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
