Product Specific Information: Topical liquid extract (tincture) prepared from dried Kigelia africana fruit. For external (topical) use only.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: For external use only. Shake well first, and do a patch test on a small area before wider use. Apply to intact skin only - do not use on open wounds or broken skin, and keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not take it internally and do not swallow it. Because this is an alcohol tincture, it may sting on sensitive skin. Discontinue use if any irritation or reaction occurs. Store in a cool, dry place, and keep out of reach of children.
Precautions re: All Other: External use only: this product is for topical use and is not for internal use - do not swallow it. The raw sausage-tree fruit is toxic and strongly purgative if eaten. Skin: apply to intact skin only - do not use on open wounds or broken skin, and keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes. Do a patch test first, and stop if redness, itching, or rash develops. Pregnancy / nursing: do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding without the advice of a qualified practitioner. Contains alcohol. Do not use on infants or children, and keep it away from children and pets because the fruit is toxic. If you have a medical condition or take medication, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children.
