Label Statements
Formulation re: Does NOT Contain: Formulated without alcohol, gluten, fragrances, or any artificial and natural colors.
Product Specific Information: Made in Hawaii, USA with domestic & imported ingredients, FDA-registered facility.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20-30 drops (about 0.7-1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Glycerites may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs. Pollen allergy: birch is a major cause of pollen allergy, so do NOT use birch leaf if you are allergic to birch pollen; it can also cross-react in some people with mugwort, celery and wild carrot, and with foods such as apples, soybeans, hazelnuts and peanuts. The most common side effects are allergic - hives, rash, itchy eyes, runny nose or wheezing - so stop use and seek care if these occur. Salicylates and aspirin: birch naturally contains salicylates (aspirin-like compounds), so avoid it if you are sensitive to aspirin or salicylates, and do not combine it with aspirin. Fluid balance: birch leaf is a diuretic (it increases urine), so do NOT use it if you have swelling (edema) related to heart or kidney disease, take other diuretics, or have high blood pressure, without medical advice; drink plenty of fluid
Storage: Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
