Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20–30 drops (about 0.7–1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Glycerites may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Flixweed seed acts on the heart and has specific medication cautions. Heart-acting compounds: flixweed seed naturally contains cardiac glycosides, which act on the heart. Do NOT combine it with heart medications such as digoxin, and use caution if you have any heart-rhythm or heart condition - talk to your doctor first. Use it only short-term and not in large amounts. Medication interactions: it can affect the enzymes and transporters (such as P-glycoprotein) that process many drugs, so it may interact with other medicines - if you take any medication, consult your practitioner first. Pregnancy / nursing: do NOT use it during pregnancy, and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding. Do not use it to self-treat breathing, fluid or heart problems - see a qualified doctor instead. Do not give it to infants or young children. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage: Do not use if the seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.
