Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well before use. Put the number of drops shown on the label into a little water, juice or tea and drink it, up to the frequency shown on the label. Do not exceed the label serving. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking it. Brahmi is gentler on the stomach when taken with food. Refrigerate after opening and use within the period printed on the label.
Precautions re: All Other: This blend causes drowsiness and is for adults only. Drowsiness: all three herbs can cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking it. Do not combine with alcohol, sleeping pills, benzodiazepines, sedative antihistamines or other products that slow the nervous system. Seizure disorders: this product is not for seizures or epilepsy. Never replace or stop anticonvulsant medicines, and because sedative herbs can add to their effects, talk to your neurologist before use. Pregnancy / nursing: do not use. Passionflower can stimulate the uterus. Surgery: stop use at least two weeks before scheduled surgery or anesthesia. Antidepressants: do not combine with MAO-inhibitor antidepressants. Thyroid and cholinergic medicines: brahmi may raise thyroid hormone levels and adds to the effect of cholinergic drugs such as those used for dementia. Consult your doctor if you take them or have a thyroid condition. Stomach: brahmi can cause nausea or loose stools. Take with food. If you have a medical condition or take medication, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Do not use it to self-treat any medical condition. Keep out of reach of children.
