Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: For external use only. Shake well first, and do a patch test on a small area before wider use. Apply to intact skin only - keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes, and do not use on broken skin. Do not take it internally. Discontinue use if any irritation or reaction occurs. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and keep out of reach of children.
Precautions re: All Other: External use only - never internal: this product is for topical use and must not be swallowed. Calea is psychoactive and studies show it can be toxic to nerve cells and to the liver and kidneys; taken internally it may cause nausea, vomiting, or hallucinations. Skin: apply to intact skin only - do not use on broken skin, and keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes. Do a patch test first, and stop if redness, itching, or rash develops. Pregnancy / nursing: avoid use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Contains alcohol. Do not use on infants or children. If you have a medical condition or take medication, consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use. Do not use it to self-treat any medical condition - see a qualified doctor instead. Keep out of reach of children.
