Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: For external use only. Shake well first, and do a patch test on a small area before wider use. Apply to intact skin - and avoid contact with the eyes. Do not take it internally. Discontinue use if any irritation or reaction occurs. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and keep out of reach of children.

Jewelweed is little used internally and is considered questionable to take by mouth; the plant is naturally high in minerals and large amounts can be purgative.
