Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well before use. Adults take up to 20 drops (1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 3-4 fl oz of juice or water, up to 3 times a day.
Precautions re: All Other: Liquorice root contains glycyrrhizin. Taken in quantity or over long periods it can raise blood pressure, make the body retain sodium and water, and lower blood potassium. Do not use if you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, low potassium or liver disease, and do not combine it with diuretics, digoxin, corticosteroids or potassium-lowering medicines without medical supervision. Do not use continuously for more than 4-6 weeks. Stop use and seek advice if you develop swelling, headache, muscle weakness or an irregular heartbeat. Keep out of reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If you are taking any medication, have a medical condition, or are scheduled for surgery, consult a healthcare practitioner before use. Discontinue use if an adverse reaction occurs. Do not use if the tamper seal is broken or missing. Store tightly capped in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
