Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions: Shake well. 20–30 drops (about 0.7–1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper) in 2 oz of water, tea or juice, up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. Tinctures may also be taken directly.
Precautions re: All Other: Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs. Excessive consumption may impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. Sicklepod (Jue Ming Zi) seed contains natural laxative anthraquinones. Laxative effect / not for long-term use: do NOT use it for more than one to two weeks at a time; long-term or high-dose use can cause the bowels to stop working normally, lead to laxative dependence, and cause melanosis coli. Diarrhea / loose stools: do not use it if you already have loose stools or diarrhea. Blood pressure: it may lower blood pressure; use caution if you have low blood pressure or take blood-pressure medication. Pregnancy / nursing: do NOT use it during pregnancy, and consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you are breastfeeding. Contains alcohol. Do not use it to self-treat any medical condition. Do not give it to infants or young children.
