Pure TheraPro Rx Bio Boron 30 mg Review
Pure TheraPro Rx Bio Boron is a 30 mg boron supplement in capsule form, sold as a 90 count bottle of Bororganic Glycine Boron supplements for men and women. The product page states that boron can be challenging for the body to absorb, and that this formula contains Albion's Bororganic Glycinate, which the brand says optimizes absorption and bioavailability. The page describes boron as an essential nutrient for optimal health and says the supplement supports bone metabolism, immunity, and nervous system health. The listing highlights several areas of support. It says boron acts as a Vitamin D and Magnesium cofactor and assists in the absorption and utilization of Calcium, and it mentions Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, activation of Vitamin D, and healthy aging. The page also claims that boron has been shown to support healthy hormonal balance, brain activity, and cell membrane function. For bones, it refers to strong bones, healthy bone growth and mineralization, and support for the bone matrix's connective structure, including ligaments and tendons. For cognition, it refers to maintaining the proper function of cell membranes and supporting brain and cognitive function. Each capsule contains 30 mg of Boron, and the page says this helps maintain healthy hormone activity, with boron described as aiding the production, regulation, and half-life of hormones and helping protect hormones from rapid breakdown. The About Us section states that Pure TheraPro Rx was founded in Denver, Colorado, to formulate and manufacture supplements. The brand says purity is its priority, that it uses patented, clinically studied ingredients, and that it does not use fillers, flow agents, excipients, or ingredients sourced from China. It also states that its formulas do not contain dairy, gluten, corn, soy, or other common allergens, and describes them as practitioner-recommended. The page lists a current price of USD $29.97, sold by Pure TheraPro and fulfilled by Walmart, with a free 90-day return policy. The product details, specifications, indications, directions, warranty and ingredients sections are present as headings but show no content in the scraped text, so dosing directions, full ingredient list and specifications cannot be confirmed from this page.

The evidence that swallowed boron helps bone health is limited. This product gives 30 milligrams of boron a day, far above the 250 micrograms used in the main bone study. In an open study of 334 women past menopause with low bone density, a daily mineral tablet with 250 micrograms of boron plus calcium, vitamin D and other minerals raised spine bone density by about 1.5% over a year while the comparison group lost bone. Because the tablet held many ingredients and there was no placebo, the gain cannot be credited to boron [1]. In a one-year controlled trial of 28 young women, boron changed blood phosphorus and magnesium but showed no clear bone benefit [2][3]. Boric acid gel placed into gum pockets during deep cleaning improved jawbone defects compared with placebo gel, by about 37% versus 3% in one trial [4] and 17% versus 3% bone fill in another [5], and a review of eight gum studies agreed [6]. These gum results come from local treatment of gum disease, not from swallowing a supplement, so they say little about this product. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Customer feedback for Pure TheraPro Rx Bio Boron 30 mg highlights several qualitative themes, with many users expressing significant satisfaction, particularly regarding its impact on bone health. A recurring sentiment among long-term users, especially those previously diagnosed with osteoporosis, is the remarkable improvement in bone density. Several individuals reported a noticeable increase in bone density, with one user even experiencing a 20 percent increase in some areas after five years of consistent use, leading them to become a "lifelong believer". These testimonials often emphasize that while results may not be immediate, patience is key to experiencing these profound benefits. Beyond bone health, customers frequently praise the supplement for contributing to a general sense of well-being and sustained energy. Some users have noted feeling a "more steady all day energy" that they hadn't experienced in a long time, even when starting with a reduced dosage due to sensitivity. The product's high bioavailability, attributed to Albion's Bororganic Glycinate, is often implicitly or explicitly appreciated by customers who report feeling a tangible difference in their bodies. However, a notable qualitative theme in customer feedback revolves around initial "detox symptoms." Several users, particularly those new to boron supplementation, have reported experiencing mild side effects such as headaches, fatigue, or brain fog when first starting the supplement. This feedback often includes advice to begin with a lower dose, sometimes as little as a quarter capsule, and gradually increase it as the body adjusts to mitigate these temporary effects. Despite these initial adjustments, the overall sentiment remains positive, with many customers finding the product easy to incorporate into their daily routine once the appropriate dosage is established. The consistent positive outcomes, especially in areas like bone density, have cultivated a loyal customer base, with many considering themselves "lifelong customers" due to the perceived effectiveness of the product.
Biohacker Summary
Members Only6 of 10 recommend it
Boron is the only ingredient here, and the panel leans toward it: of the ten, six recommend it in their latest statements, one uses it, and three stay neutral. The most common reason is hormones, as several say it lowers a binding protein called SHBG, which frees up more testosterone without raising total testosterone. Others take it for bone strength, for helping vitamin D work, and for longevity. Doses they name run from 2 mg up to 12 mg a day, with 6 to 12 mg the most common range, and one panelist describes his own low dose. Panelists pair it with vitamin D, K2, magnesium and zinc, and one says to try it if SHBG is high; one panelist notes that people should look at possible side effects, and another calls it a safe choice.

RAL Summary
Members OnlyTier 4 for Bone Health
The tier rests on two trials of boric acid gel placed into gum pockets during dental cleaning, a local gum treatment rather than a swallowed boron supplement, and the swallowed boron studies do not show a clear bone benefit from boron itself. So it is graded Tier 4, lower than the rules alone gave.
- Emerging: not enough evidence to rank higher yet.

Body systems: Skeletal system
Combine with: To enhance the benefits of boron, particularly for bone health, consider combining it with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2, which are crucial for calcium absorption and proper utilization in bones. Magnesium is also highly synergistic, as it works closely with boron and calcium for optimal bone mineralization and overall skeletal integrity. For broader support of hormonal balance, which boron can indirectly influence, zinc and healthy fats (like omega-3s) could also be beneficial additions.
Possible side effects: No major side effects reported in the studies; no written reviews could be read to confirm the headaches, tiredness or brain fog described in the review summary.
