Neither ingredient in this product is present at the amount used in the studies. Nicotinamide mononucleotide is included at about 207.5 milligrams a day, well below the doses tested. In a placebo-controlled trial of 42 hospitalized adults with the coronavirus illness and kidney injury, 2 grams a day for 2 weeks safely raised blood levels of the cell fuel it is meant to boost, but inflammation markers, kidney injury markers and illness severity were no different from placebo [1]. In 25 adults with an immune disorder that destroys blood platelets, 450 milligrams twice a day for 2 weeks was well tolerated. Only 20% reached the main platelet target, though 60% rose above one and a half times their starting count at some point. There was no comparison group [2]. A laboratory study found it did not boost a type of calming immune cell [3]. Betaine is present only in a trace amount, 42.5 milligrams compared with the 2 grams studied. In 29 youth soccer players, 2 grams daily for 14 weeks kept inflammation signals lower and prevented a rise in white blood cells compared with placebo [4]. A broad review said betaine may lower inflammation markers but gave no specific doses [5]. In colorectal cancer patients, eating more betaine in food was linked to a higher inflammation marker [6]. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Real user feedback on Codeage Immune Liposomal NMN is overwhelmingly positive, with many reviewers expressing high satisfaction with the product. Across platforms like iHerb, Codeage’s own website, Target, and Grove, users consistently comment on the perceived boost in energy and improved overall wellness after taking this supplement. Several customers remark that they feel more alert and notice enhanced stamina throughout the day, which seems to be a recurring benefit mentioned in many of the five-star reviews. Some users highlight subtle improvements in their immune system support, mentioning fewer seasonal illnesses since starting the supplement, while others appreciate the convenience and ease of incorporating it into their daily routine. Taste, when mentioned, is generally found to be neutral to pleasant, which is notable for a product in this category, and packaging quality receives favorable mentions for being easy to store and use. Another common theme is trust in the Codeage brand, with users feeling confident in the product's consistency and visible results compared to alternatives they've tried. However, the neutral and negative reviews, while a small percentage, should not be overlooked. Some users are less convinced about the supplement’s effectiveness, mentioning that they did not observe significant changes even after regular use over several weeks or months. A few reviewers express skepticism about the value for money, questioning whether the results justify the price point, especially since benefits can take time to manifest or may vary individually. There are also isolated reports of mild digestive discomfort, though these are not widely echoed in the broader feedback. On the whole, most users seem pleased with the overall quality and results, whereas the most frequent critiques center around unremarkable or slow-to-appear benefits. Despite the predominantly positive reception, these mixed experiences highlight that, as with many supplements, individual results may vary. Still, with the large majority reporting favorable experiences, Codeage Immune Liposomal NMN stands out to many as a worthwhile addition to their wellness routines.

Biohacker Summary

Members Only9 of 10 recommend it
9 of 10 biohackers on our panel recommend it

The main ingredient here is betaine, and eight of the ten panelists spoke about it: five recommend it, one uses it, and two stay neutral. Most take it as betaine hydrochloride with meals to raise stomach acid, ease bloating, heartburn and indigestion, and help break down protein, with one suggesting up to three a day, one per meal, and another saying to start with one or two and adjust. Others value it as plain betaine (also called trimethylglycine) for supporting methylation, liver function, insulin sensitivity and fat burning, or for exercise power and as an option for people who do not respond to creatine, at 1 to 3 grams a day, and one takes it before an NAD drip to avoid stomach upset. One caution is to avoid it with a stomach ulcer, and some prefer getting it from foods like beets and spinach. NMN is a smaller ingredient in this product, and the panel is split on it, with some recommending or using it, while two stopped and one warned of side effects such as higher homocysteine.
