Vitamin D is the only ingredient here near a studied dose, and its results for the thyroid are mixed. A pooled analysis of 12 trials in people with Hashimoto's thyroiditis found vitamin D lowered thyroid antibodies and raised thyroid hormones [1]. Smaller trials in women with Hashimoto's also found lower antibodies [2][3]. However, another pooled analysis found vitamin D alone did not lower antibodies over six months [4], and a 3-year trial in Graves' disease found no benefit for remission [5]. Vitamin A and zinc helped thyroid hormone levels in trials, but at much higher doses than this gummy gives [6][7][8]. Vitamin C helped only at 500 mg or more, far above this dose [9]. Vitamin E taken alone did not change thyroid hormones in controlled trials [10][11]. The fish oil dose is small, and a trial at 1000 mg found no change in thyroid hormones [12]. Niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12 and chromium have no human evidence of thyroid benefit [13][14][15][16]. Chromium can reduce absorption of meds, so keep them hours apart [17], and biotin can distort thyroid blood tests [18]. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Biohacker Summary

Members Only0 of 10 recommend it
0 of 10 biohackers on our panel recommend it

This product has no main ingredient on the panel's record, so the paragraph covers the smaller ingredients, and vitamin D drew the most comment. Most of the panel recommends or uses vitamin D, for immune function, brain health, muscle, fertility, healing and general longevity. Doses people gave run from 5000 IU a day taken in the morning to 10,000 IU in winter, with several advising it be taken with dietary fat and tested through blood levels. Zinc is a smaller ingredient in this product, and panelists mentioned it for immunity alongside vitamin C, for testosterone and sperm health, and for healing, with doses of 15 mg and 30 mg. Vitamin C is another smaller ingredient, and panelists pair it with collagen for skin and joints, while one panelist warned that the recommended daily vitamin D amount is far too low, and no one said they stopped taking anything.
