Study, Trial or Testing Result Summary
Members Only2 human studies · 1 improved
Two human trials gave this probiotic strain as part of mixed formulas, and their results disagree. No study measured biological age directly, and because the strain was never tested alone, its own effect is unclear. The studied doses are not given, so it is unknown whether the 15 milligrams in this capsule matches them. In a placebo-controlled trial of 64 pregnant women with diabetes of pregnancy, an eight-week capsule of four probiotic strains, including this one, lowered blood markers of inflammation and of oxidative stress, a type of cell damage, more than placebo [1]. A newer and longer placebo-controlled trial in older care home residents, about 30 per group, gave this strain together with another probiotic strain for up to 12 months. It found no clear effect on most immune and inflammation markers. Flu vaccine response to one virus strain was better, with 47 percent of people responding compared with 15 percent on placebo [2]. Overall, the evidence that this product helps reverse aging or repair cells is thin and mixed. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

RAL Summary
Members OnlyTier 4 for Healthy Aging
Tier 2 needs over 100 mostly positive reviews and clear human improvement, but no reviews were counted and the two trials disagree and tested this strain only in mixed formulas. So it is graded Tier 4, lower than the rules alone gave.
- Emerging: not enough evidence to rank higher yet.
Where the evidence disagrees: 1 of the 2 human studies found no effect.
