This product itself was tested in a human study.

This exact product has been tested in one well-designed human trial. In 2025, 157 active adults aged 40 to 60 with knee or lower back discomfort took 200 or 400 milligrams daily of the Muvz blend of chaste tree and ginger, or a placebo, for 90 days [1]. Both doses improved overall muscle and joint health, joint discomfort, range of motion and quality of life compared with placebo, and the higher dose worked better [1]. This product gives the lower 200 milligram dose. No other independent study has confirmed it yet. Boswellia, at 100 milligrams here, matches the dose used in many studies. A review of 49 trials found that 100 milligrams of an enriched extract for 90 days cut knee arthritis pain and improved function compared with placebo [2]. A 2025 pooled analysis ranked Boswellia highest of seven supplements for pain and stiffness, with no added side effects [3]. In a 180 day trial, 100 milligrams daily improved pain and function and increased cartilage thickness on scans [4]. A 30 day trial found benefits as early as day 5 [5]. One large analysis rated the evidence quality as very low, even though it found a strong effect on pain [6]. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Biohacker Summary

Members Only0 of 10 recommend it
0 of 10 biohackers on our panel recommend it

Six of the ten panelists spoke about Boswellia, the main ingredient, and four of them currently recommend it, mostly as an anti-inflammatory for joints and general inflammation. Several say it works on a separate inflammatory pathway that other supplements such as curcumin miss, and some call it a natural alternative to meds for joint pain. One panelist cites it for injury recovery, another has used it for years for joints and the brain, and one takes it in a mix of joint helpers, with a joint formula suggested on an empty stomach. Pairings named include turmeric, celery seed, ginger, white willow bark, hyaluronic acid and proteolytic enzymes, but no one gave a dose. One panelist warns that it gave them muscle pain, and another stays neutral, treating it as one tool to use when an inflammation problem shows up.
