This product itself was tested in 2 human studies.

This product gives a full studied dose of myo-inositol, 2000 mg a day, the main ingredient. Reviews of many trials found myo-inositol lowered fasting blood sugar, blood sugar after a sugar drink, fasting insulin and insulin resistance, but did not change long-term blood sugar [1]. In women with polycystic ovary syndrome, inositol lowered blood sugar and insulin response more than placebo [2]. In pregnant women it lowered the rate of pregnancy diabetes and fasting blood sugar [3][4]. Not every trial agrees: in 464 pregnant women with polycystic ovary syndrome it did not cut combined pregnancy problems [5]. A small trial of the 40 to 1 blend itself in 56 women with polycystic ovary syndrome found this ratio worked best for ovulation and insulin-related measures [6], while another small trial found a drop in a fat hormone tied to insulin resistance that was not statistically meaningful [7]. The D-chiro-inositol here is 50 mg, well below the doses that worked in studies, and a low-dose mix did not prevent pregnancy diabetes in one trial [8]. Most studies were in women, often with polycystic ovary syndrome or pregnancy. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Across the stores it carries about 36,653 ratings, and the picture is mostly positive, though several buyers say they can't yet tell whether it works. Praise centers on a few people who saw real changes, plus fast delivery and a lower price than rivals. **What buyers say it did for them:** A few report clear benefits. One noticed "a huge difference in my hormones" after about a month, and another says it has been "very helpful with my insulin resistance." One long-term user has taken it for years and keeps reordering. Others are in a wait-and-see stage: "It hasn't been long enough for me to tell a difference yet," and "Not sure it it works or not." **What they complain about:** The main complaint is a lack of noticeable effect. One reviewer gave one star and said it was "Not effective at all." A three-star reviewer wrote that if there was a difference, "it wasn't significant." Some buyers who were unsure still rated it well, so the doubt is about results rather than quality. One reviewer said the item was out of stock at first, but the store sent it right away. **Taste, smell, pill size or form:** The reviews say nothing about taste, smell, pill size or how easy the capsules are to swallow, so there is nothing to report on these. One reviewer mentions that the bottle arrived sealed and undamaged. This summary covers the capsules only, and reviews of other forms of the product were left out. **Value for money:** Few comments touch on price, but the one that does is favorable: "More affordable than the other product I was purchasing." Another reviewer was ordering a second bottle before seeing results, which suggests they felt the cost was reasonable, though they didn't say so directly. Delivery was a recurring plus, with "the quickest delivery" and "same day delivery" both mentioned. **Who it seems to suit and who it did not:** It seems to suit people taking inositol for hormone balance or insulin resistance, and those who have used it for a while and trust it. Those who report benefits mention taking it daily or for at least a month. Some buyers were told by someone else to take myo-inositol and chose this product, and they have yet to judge it. It did not suit the reviewers who saw little or no change. Several reviews are only a week or so into use, so early impressions may not tell the whole story. **Bottom line:** Satisfaction is good overall, with fast shipping and a lower price than some alternatives. Results vary, from clear benefits to none, and a number of buyers hadn't formed a view yet.

Biohacker Summary

Members Only4 of 10 recommend it
4 of 10 biohackers on our panel recommend it

Inositol is the main ingredient here, and nine of the ten panelists spoke about it, with most either recommending it or taking it themselves. The most common reason is sleep: six of them describe taking 900 mg before bed, and one takes about 5 grams in water at night, while another says it calms mental chatter in the evening, though she notes the sleep evidence is not strong. Others point to blood sugar and insulin sensitivity, mood and anxiety, female fertility at 1 to 5 grams a day, and use for OCD or thyroid trouble. Most name myo-inositol as the form they use, and one mentions D-chiro inositol for insulin sensitivity. One says the blood sugar and cholesterol effects are not massive, and nobody reported stopping or any side effect.

Body systems: Endocrine system, Metabolic system, Reproductive system

Combine with: Myo-inositol and D-chiro inositol in the 40:1 ratio mimic plasma physiology and act as insulin second messengers, improving insulin sensitivity and glucose handling (best studied in insulin resistance and PCOS). They stack well with berberine or chromium picolinate for added glucose uptake and AMPK support, alpha-lipoic acid for insulin signaling and antioxidant protection, and magnesium glycinate, since magnesium is needed for insulin receptor function. Cinnamon extract (Ceylon) and vitamin D can further support glycemic control, while omega-3s and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) can help with metabolic and inflammatory markers. Folate (methylfolate) or B-complex is often paired with inositol, particularly for women. If you take meds, consult your clinician before combining, as additive glucose lowering may occur.

Possible side effects: No major side effects reported.
