This product gives 760 milligrams a day of a combined berberine and Ceylon cinnamon blend, but the label does not say how much of each is in it, so we cannot tell whether either reaches the doses used in studies. The berberine trials below used 1 gram a day, and the whole blend is less than that. Berberine has strong human evidence for blood sugar. Across 37 trials with 3,048 people with type 2 diabetes, it lowered fasting, after-meal and long-term blood sugar without raising the risk of low blood sugar [1]. A pooled look at 46 trials found similar drops plus better insulin resistance and cholesterol [2]. In 409 newly diagnosed adults, 12 weeks of berberine lowered long-term blood sugar more than placebo, with more stomach upset [3]. In 116 people, 1 gram a day for 3 months lowered long-term blood sugar from 7.5% to 6.6% [4]. Benefits seemed weaker after 90 days, above 2 grams a day and in people over 60 [5]. Ceylon cinnamon extract at 250 or 500 milligrams a day for four months lowered fasting and long-term blood sugar in 210 adults with type 2 diabetes [6]. A review of 45 cinnamon studies found about 62% showed a benefit, suggesting a modest effect [7]. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Overall, Horbaach Berberine with Ceylon Cinnamon capsules get a mostly positive reception, with about 2,291 ratings across the stores that sell them. Most buyers are happy, though a few found little or no benefit. **What buyers say it did for them:** Most of the praise is about blood sugar. One buyer says, "it helps me keep my A1C below 6," and another reports morning readings "dropped to 100 and lower" after four months at three capsules a day. Some mention more energy within days or weeks, and one says it "took less than 3 days to work." Others take it for immune or heart support, and one new user is still waiting on a blood test to see what it does. A reviewer who tried it for two weeks says it "seems to help with digestion." **What they complain about:** Not everyone saw an effect. One buyer says the "Nature's a med" idea "didnt work for me," and another calls it "okay, not spectacular." One reviewer was sent the wrong item, potassium with iodine, by a retailer's fulfilment centre. That is an order mix-up rather than a fault in the capsules. A store summary also raises a labelling concern: the bottle lists 2,000mg of Ceylon Cinnamon but gives no amount of Berberine, even though Berberine comes first in the name. **Taste, smell, pill size and form:** The capsules are easy to take. One reviewer says they are "just as easy to swallow as others I've used," and another notes "No taste either!" A reviewer also likes that it combines two ingredients in one product. **Value for money:** Price gets favourable mentions. Reviewers say "Like the price" and "price is right on." Shipping is praised as quick, and one buyer calls it fast and free. A store summary backs this up, noting the fair price, quick delivery and free shipping. **Who it seems to suit and who it did not:** It seems to suit people who want a simple capsule to support blood sugar, and those who already know the ingredients. Several buyers are repeat users or have tried other brands. One says this is "by far the best I've tried." It suited others less, such as the buyer who expected a dramatic effect and saw none, and the one who found only mild digestive help. Some reviewers had used it only a few days and say it is too early to judge. Anyone who wants to know the exact Berberine dose may be put off by the label. Reviews of other forms of this product were left out; this summary covers the capsules only.
Biohacker Summary

Most of the panel backs berberine, the main ingredient, mainly for blood sugar, with several also citing cholesterol, sleep, cravings and heart health. Doses are given as 500 mg taken with meals, one panelist cited 500 mg three times a day, and some prefer dihydroberberine or a bioavailable form. Cautions are common: one warned that taking it on an empty stomach can cause low blood sugar, headaches, dizziness and blurred vision, one advised care with other glucose lowering products, and one said he felt fine on up to 750 mg to a gram with a large carbohydrate rich meal. Two of them stopped taking it (one because it gave him headaches and carb cravings, the other when his diet changed), and a few stayed neutral or skeptical about the evidence or preferred a med. Cinnamon is the other main ingredient: several add it to coffee, oats, smoothies, pudding or a pinch in water for blood sugar and cravings, with one using half a teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon, while one warned that it is high in oxalate.

Body systems: Endocrine system, Digestive system, Cardiovascular system
Combine with: Berberine with Ceylon Cinnamon pairs well with other nutrients that support glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity. Alpha-lipoic acid (R-ALA) and chromium picolinate or chromium polynicotinate can enhance insulin signaling and glucose uptake. Magnesium glycinate or citrate helps because low magnesium is linked to impaired insulin function. Alpha-lipoic acid, bitter melon, or gymnema sylvestre can add complementary support for post-meal glucose response. Omega-3 fish oil and soluble fiber such as psyllium or glucomannan help blunt glucose spikes and support healthy lipids. Take berberine with meals to limit GI upset. Consult a healthcare provider before combining it with meds, since additive glucose lowering may occur, and avoid it during pregnancy or when taking drugs metabolized by CYP enzymes without medical guidance.
Possible side effects: Berberine caused more stomach upset than placebo in trials; cinnamon had few side effects in studies. Reviews do not report major side effects.
