This product is a multi-ingredient shake. Several ingredients come at doses used in mood studies. Magnesium lowered depression scores more than placebo across seven trials in adults with depression [1]. Zinc added to meds eased depression more than meds alone [2], and selenium lowered depression scores across 52 trials [3]. Curcumin, here as Meriva, helped depression when added to meds [2], though one later pooled analysis found less anxiety but no clear benefit for depression [4]. Folate added to meds improved depression [5]. Vitamin D modestly eased depressive symptoms [6] but did not prevent depression in large trials of older adults [7]. Vitamin C helped well-being in young adults with low vitamin C [8]. Vitamin A, at the full two-serving amount, improved depression scores in one trial of people with multiple sclerosis [9], but not in a larger trial of pregnant women [10]. Vitamin B12 showed no mood benefit [11]. Vitamin E, riboflavin, iron, taurine, lutein, green tea extract and betaine are well below the amounts studied [12][13]. No reviews of this product were available. Animal and cell studies are never counted.

Biohacker Summary

Members Only0 of 10 recommend it
0 of 10 biohackers on our panel recommend it

The main ingredient here is a mix of vitamins and minerals, and the panel talked most about vitamin D and magnesium. Vitamin D drew the most support: most of the panel recommend or use it, citing general health, immune and brain support, and healing, with doses of 5,000 and 10,000 international units a day and blood level targets mentioned. They advise taking it with dietary fat for better absorption, and one panelist warns the standard daily intake is too low. Magnesium is used mainly for sleep, with glycinate and threonate forms named and 400 milligrams at bedtime given as one dose, though two panelists stayed neutral and one cautions that labels can make the dose look larger than it is. Zinc was backed by a few for prostate and gut lining support, and vitamin C was recommended with collagen for connective tissue. Glycine, taken for sleep, is a smaller ingredient in this product, and no one on the panel said they stopped.
